Comments: Some people use [ɣ] as a hiatus-filling consonant. Many substitute /j/ for /ʎ/, /ɟ/ for /gʎ/, /c/ for /kʎ/. Many substitute [v̊] or [f] for /sv/. Many substitute /ɛr/ for /r̩/. /w/ and /j/ may also be described as allophones of /u/, /v/, /i/ and prothetic processes. /f, dz, dʒ, ɟ, ç, ɛ, ɔ/ occur almost exclusively in borrowings. Pitch accent is present, distinguishing descending and ascending stress. Vowel length is contrastive only in syllable with descending stress.
